Teaching world's largest grocery retailer company stakeholders how to replace single-use plastic bags with reusable bags
Single-use plastic bags are a world-wide
waste issue, as a single bag, can take up to
500 years or more to degrade.

There is a popular and growing movement to ban or heavily tax single-use plastic bags across the United States and globally.
In recent years, Hawaii (2011), California (2016), Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, New York (2019), Oregon, and Vermont have taken steps to ban single-use plastic bags in one form or another. Many local municipalities also have implemented bans or restrictions.
A statewide ban would be easier for consumers and businesses alike.
